On 20 November 2019, we had our last child protection steering group meeting for the year where we celebrated our joint progress and shared vision for 2020.
We want to congratulate the following members of our steering group that also received their certificates as Child Protection Champion Organisations after reaching Level 4 with an average of more than 90% on conclusion of our baseline tracking for the year as part of the Drakenstein Child Protection Programme: Khula Development Group, Paarl Jeug Inisiatief and Valcare.
We also thank all our steering group delegates who journeyed with us this year towards better child protection systems in our valley. We are looking forward to some great collaborations in 2020!
